The discographer.dk - René Aagaard

The original website the-discographer.dk has now been taken down. The discographies however, have all (close to 400 files) been uploaded to the Internet Archive as separte files and remain thus accessible but without a navigation menu.

To provide an easier overview and navigation, this page provides a complete list of René Aagaard’s discographies in PDF format with direct links, organized by topic.
All discographies are PDF documents in Danish, but have translation and search options
(Edge browser on PC and tablet) – click here for a  short PDF GuidePlease note that some of the files are fairly large and may take a while to load!

You can use the Quick Seach section below to go to the discographies of your interest – Each line links to a main or sub category close to the original grouping used for the discographies. If you’re looking for specific artist or label names, use the search bar.

Presentation

Presentation from 78er Klubben (The Danish 78rpm Club)

Danish, online illustrated discographies
A gold mine of information for e.g. 78’s record collectors.
For many years discographer and record collector, René Aagaard, wrote an overwhelming amount of discographies, which he made freely available online. An impressive effort, much appreciated by record collectors.

René Aagaard’s discographies differ from most other (and especially older) discographies in the way, they are illustrated with pictures of the discography’s artist, autographed, and with pictures of the labels of the individual record labels.
Often these discographies also contain information about the artist, such as performances and other relevant information in connection with the record releases.”
